-
When he withdraws and sulks,
Tell him you’re going
somewhere with a friend until he’s ready to talk.
-
When he has angry outbursts,
Leave his presence & tell him
you won’t talk to him until he calms down.
-
When he won’t spend time with you,
Stop doing things for him,
like making dinner. Say, “The kids and I already ate since you
haven’t been home much lately.”
-
When he is too needy,
Set boundaries about how
often he can call you at work, and let him know you don’t want
to hear the same issues over and over unless he’s doing
something about them.
